What is this device?

This is a device that can be used to authorize product dispensing on any MDB powered vending machine without adding any payment system, for locations where a cashier is always available (small shops, for example). Using this device, the cashier will charge the customer the proper amount, then activate the vending machine by simply pressing a button.

How it's working?

You need to connect the interface to the vending machine using the MDB communication port and a button wired to the counter. The interface is storing a certain amount of credit that will be sent to the machine on any press of the button, to allow customer's selection. If the product price fits the available amount, the machine will dispense the product. The available amount can be updated by using an Android mobile application. The Android application is also offering some reports about the sales and the credit recharges.

What you need to do?

Almost nothing. Just connect it to the MDB interface, connect a button near the cashier and use the Android application to load some credit.

Can I go deeper on the MDB protocol?

Yes, we can develop some custom peripherals if your project requires that and we can even create a custom firmware, upon your needs.
